About

It takes courage and strength to open yourself up to vulnerability and seek help; so, firstly, good on you for overcoming the fears and mental health stigma!

If you are looking for therapy, you may be wanting answers, a safe space to express and process your emotions and experiences, to learn more about yourself, or to learn tangible skills to improve your mental health or relationships with others. I will work collaboratively with you to identify your goals in our time together and use evidence-based psychotherapeutic tools based on your unique needs.

You are at the driver’s seat and you have the choice to decide where we go together. My job here is to meet you where you are in your journey and guide you in your self-exploration. When you feel lost or overwhelmed, I will be here to remind you of your skills, resiliency, and successes, and I will be here to offer tools that will make navigating this journey less overwhelming. You can count on me to be a compassionate, nonjudgmental, empathic listener, who values receiving constructive feedback when we may have taken a wrong turn. We both will be learning together.

I have experience in providing psychotherapy to a diverse range of adults, from various sociocultural backgrounds, on a variety of life’s challenges, including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, stress (work, financial), and relationship issues (parenting, blended families, divorce/separation). My approach is client-centered, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and eclectic; I adopt strategies from various evidence-based modalities to instruct my approach in session, based on what you bring in. Moreover, I am committed to ongoing professional development, learning not just from books and professional courses, but also from you! I hope we can work together to navigate the tricky terrains of your journey.
